I know that it has been a VERY long time since I have posted anything! It seems that when I get on here to write something I get side tracked and then run out of time. Today I am making time though!
I have had my sis-in-law and neice here staying with us for the past few days. They came just to shop some and hang out. We had a great time and enjoy them being here! The girls miss each other so much!
We have been so busy for the past month and the next month doesnt look any different! We will be in and out of town all month and Liv has so many little recitals and programs in the next few weeks! It is going to be crazy!!
Liv had a great day at school today. She really didn't want to go this morning (which is a first) because she wanted to stay with her cousin but she went anyways. I guess she had an encounter with a round hair brush and spent quite sometime with one of her teachers as she was trying to get it out of Liv's hair without having to cut it out! Liv is going to be a flower girl in June and so I am not going to cut or trim her hair til after that but I believe that she is determined to have that happen. Within the past month I have had to cut a piece of gum and a fruit snack out of her hair. Luckily it was not noticable!
Zoe has become my challenging child! If anyone has any suggestions on how to discipline a 21 month old please send them my way! She just tortures Liv with messing up her toys or taking them away. She bites me..very rarely anyone else. She pretends to give kisses and hugs and then slaps you in the face. Now don't get me wrong...she is a very sweet baby but she is just such a mess. She also will not leave her clothes on..or her diaper for that matter. I have been having to put her in those one piece jump suits so she can't strip as easily! I never had ANY of these issues with Liv so I am at a loss with this child!!
On to a happier note...we had a great time in Oklahoma over Thanksgiving. We spent almost a full week up there. Lots of family time!! It really was good though! I went shopping at 3:30 am on Black Friday and shopped for a good part of the day. I have no idea what I bought but my thinking was that I would just buy and sort later. I can always make returns but wanted to buy sale items! We were suppose to come home on Sunday but Terry decided that he wanted to hunt Sunday night and we would head home when he got done. Me and the girls were getting our things together when we got a call from Terry saying that he got a deer! He shot a 15 point buck!! How great is that?!? (I will post pics later) By the time he got done doing what you do to a dead deer it was way to late to come home so we got up at 5am Monday morning and drove home so he could start seeing patients at 8! It was a long day but it all turned out ok!
Anyways, I will try and do better with posting! I do read all of yours though!!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

From Last Week to Halloween
It has been well over a week since I have posted anything. We have been so busy it is unreal! The last post I wrote was the night before Liv's school pumpkin patch. She was so excited that night and even more so the morning of. I took her to school that day and they were setting it all up when we got there. It was so darn cute! Liv had a great day and got to ride the blue choo-choo train and brought home a pumpkin of her own.

Then the really busy day...Friday...Halloween! But what a fun day it was! We ran a few errands that day and I actually got the girls down for a GOOD nap! A 2 hour nap! I was thrilled! Terry left the house early to go get the car set up at the church for Trunk or Treat. That left me to get both girls in their costumes and out the door in a timely fashion. It all went relatively smooth. Liv was a princess and Zoe was a bumble bee.
What a great night it was though..long....but awesome! Liv had more fun passing out the candy than she did walking around and getting it and Zoe had more fun eating it! Almost as fast as she got it! I just knew that she was going to be sick but she wasn't...just a little more hyper than normal! We saw lots of friends there! Liv was very excited to see Grace and Catherine! She loved seeing Maylee and of course her teacher, Ms. Kristina and Baby Benjamin! Zoe saw her teachers, Ms. Connie and Ms. Michelle and waved at them and didn't shed one tear! She loves them but is still going through the attachment stage so when she sees them she always assumes we are leaving her!
We have also been to Oklahoma since the last post. My sister-in-law, Emmy, is having the first boy in the family this December (and when I mean 1st boy...there are currently 6 girls on my side and 8 on Terry's side) and her baby shower was this past Saturday. We had a great time getting to visit and spend time with everyone and the shower was lots of fun! She got lots of great stuff...so weird seeing all the blue and the camo in actual green and not pink!
This week started off busy with Liv's dance class she has first thing on Monday morning. She did great and is getting the routine down that she will be performing at Christmas time and also her big recital at UNT this next May. The week continued to be busy with everything from Liv's school to work and to shopping for Halloween decorations. This is Zoe after a day of shopping!

They were adorable and both had alot of fun! We got to the church about 6:15 and didn't get home til about 9:40. Here is a pic of the girls the morning after....looking a bit tired after a night of "trunk or treating"....

Ready for the Weekend

We have had such a busy day today! Me and the girls spent all morning cleaning the house. My mom is coming to spend tomorrow and Sunday with us so of course I have to welcome her with a clean house! It is times like this that I remind myself that if I just kept it clean all the time then I would not have to rush myself to get it cleaned up for company! After we finished cleaning, we picked Terry up at the office and met our friends Jennifer and Leigha for a yummy lunch at Baris! We started tackling our errands after lunch making several stops before finally getting home later this evening! The girls were exhausted and were asleep and in bed by 8pm! Now Terry is making pumpkin bread and I am relaxing on the couch! We are so ready for the weekend! Hope everyone has a great one!
By the way...we did finally find a blow-up yard decoration. I will post the pictures along with Liv's very first "school" pictures! So Cute!

Lazy Days!
We started our day VERY early this morning! 6:30 A.M.!!! Terry had his weekly men's prayer meeting at 6:30 this morning. He is very good about being quiet when getting ready when we are all still asleep but it never fails....as soon as he leaves the girls wake up! It doesn't matter what time it is..they are up! They start yelling "DADDY" until I finally convince them that he has already left! It was cloudy and rainy this morning (and dark) and all I wanted to do was sleep. Needless to say...didn't happen! The girls want to get up, get breakfast and turn "Diego" on! So that is what we do! They are in charge you know??!! We were very lazy today and stayed home all day! It is very not like me to do that but I really did enjoy it today! We all took a nap and just played and had some fun. We had church tonight. Liv had her choir practice and had a great time! She got to see her preschool teacher tonight which is a huge bonus for her! Zoe saw her teacher before we even got out of the car and automatically burst into tears. We are going through the attachment phase so she is full of tears these days! It doesn't last but a few minutes though and she is having a great time with her little friends! It was a pretty great day! Terry and the girls are asleep now! I am soon to follow! Goodnight!

Blow-Up Decoration
Today, for the most part, has been pretty laid back. Liv had school today and was extremely excited as always! She had a great day! She had chapel and got to play outside before the rain came. She learned a new song that she has been singing all afternoon! Me and Zoe hung out with Terry at the office and helped up there for awhile. Zoe loves to "help" daddy! We picked Liv up a few minutes early today so that we could go on the hunt for a "blow-up" yard decoration for Halloween. That is all Liv has been talking about. Now last week when we went to Garden Ridge, they had tons of them. I didn't get one then because I thought I would wait and get one for Christmas since I am not a huge fan of Halloween. Liv was ok with that until she started seeing all the ones in our neighborhood. Now she has to have one! So off to Garden Ridge we go this afternoon, pouring rain and all! We get there and what do they have??? Two blow-up decorations left! And what are they??? A blow-up corpse and a haunted house with freaky ghosts in it! Totally not appropriate for my kids ages! We leave the store and wait for Terry to get done at the office to go look around some more. We go to Wal-Mart, Lowes, and Target...and nothing! So if anyone can tell me where I can still find something that is cute and not scary I would greatly appreciate it! I will be out looking some more tomorrow I'm sure! For now though, the girls are asleep and I am fixing to watch a movie! Have a great night everyone!

Ok...so I am trying out this blog thing! So far I am finding it very difficult! I can't figure out how to do alot on here so I apologize that my page is looking pretty boring! I am working on it!
Today has been an ok day! Liv missed her dance class this morning. She has had a runny nose since Saturday after the train ride at the pumpkin patch so I decided to let her rest this morning instead of getting her up early and rushing around to dance class. Instead, the girls got to play and enjoy some of their favorite tv shows that they have not got to watch in a while! Terry was here for a good part of the morning so he got to spend some time with them too. While Zoe napped, Terry and Liv went to the office, both in their scrubs! They came back to pick me and Zoe up after seeing some patients and running some errands for me. We then went to Zoe's 6 month check up for her tubes that was put in her ears back in March. It took us almost an hour and half total, driving there and back, all for a 10 minute appointment! Good news though...the tubes are still in place so hopefully they will stay there for the fall and winter seasons that are ahead of us! That has been our day so far. I am looking forward to a relaxing evening (hopefully)!!
